IMBER

We donate two dollars from every order to non-profit Microlend. They’re an inspiring microfinance organization that primarily helps women in developing countries, in Asia and Africa, lift themselves from an intergenerational poverty, by providing them with business training, and a loan to start their own small business.

So far, we have donated over $12,000 to Microlend. With an average loan size of $500 and an average of 5 people in a family in the countries that Microlend operates, you and I have helped approximately 120 people lift themselves from an intergenerational poverty.

We hope to continue to grow IMBER into a social venture that creates thoughtful and beautifully designed jewelry, that also help other women in the process. For as stated by Jacqueline Novogratz, the woman who created the very first microfinance bank in Rwanda, “Think of yourself as a bridge extending forward, so that others may walk across."
